Develop welding techniques, procedures, and application of welding equipment to problems involving fabrication of metals, utilizing knowledge of production specifications, properties and characteristics of metals and metal alloys, and engineering principles.
Performs research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer for production. Applies to research to the planning, design, development, and testing of new aerospace products.
Management responsibilities include supervision of design and drafting staff, coordination with clients and associates, and organization of design and construction administration activities to meet established schedules and budgets.
Develop skills in HVAC load calculation methods, duct design, piping design, plumbing design, energy modeling, equipment selection, temperature controls, acoustics, and other areas of mechanical construction.
Candidate will proactively identify Risks and Opportunities, develop workarounds, develop recovery plans and present to program and operations management. Candidate will support proposal activities throughout all production and development activities.
In this role, you will be responsible for independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.
Create assembly planning based on drawings and solid models, participates in engineering technical reviews, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and interfaces with Tech Ops/Design Engineering organization to implement DFA concepts.
You will integrate traffic planning and drainage information into these designs. You may oversee the engineering analysis, preparation of estimates, plans and specifications as well as information for technical reports.
