Incumbent is responsible for the inspection of all water, wastewater and reuse water mains and appurtenance installation, site rehabilitation projects and work completed by contractors. The associated functions include but are not limited to the management of the inspection staff in the scheduling, planning, and execution of inspections, and coordinating with various internal and external parties.
The Assistant Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring all daily construction related issues are being addressed and is responsible for ensuring smooth transitions between sub-contractors working on-site.
Manage the home building process from receipt of building permit to closing of the sale and ensure building code, environmental, safety compliance and the quality specifications of the Company and its customers.
The Assistant Construction Manager will handle the day-to-day on specific projects related to renovations or new construction; the Assistant Construction Manager will work closely with the Construction Manager throughout the construction/renovation life of the project.
Manage the process of closing any office, including preparing cost estimates and appropriating funds, coordinating vendors necessary to remove FF&E and clean the facility and perform final walk through with Landlord.
Prepare or direct the preparation of purchase orders and subcontracts for concrete materials and labor; including concrete, rebar, stud rails, post-tensioning, formwork, tower and mobile cranes, and any other miscellaneous concrete materials.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
