In this role, you will design and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment, and packages to define and derive requirements, plan conceptual and detailed development efforts, conduct feasibility studies and execute tests on both new and existing designs.
In this role, you will keep senior management informed on reliability performance through reports, program status by creating, maintaining, and presenting written reports on project and program status, tests, costs, issues, and performance against established targets on a regular basis.
In this role, you will ensure missile processing complies to design requirements and recommend design changes to group lead/manager. Lead proofings for new design changes, documentation, equipment, processes, or capabilities as required. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally or in written form. Perform complex mechanical design/research engineering functions for projects with customers, various lmssc organizations and appropriate contractors. Must be willing to work around ordnance, shift work and overtime as required.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop complex manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; and conferring with equipment suppliers.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing industry networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and/or participating in professional associations.
