The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating communicative disorders and swallowing disorders, and developing and administering speech therapy treatments for inpatients and outpatients of all ages, which may include neonates, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations according to competency, and teaching patient and employee educational programs.
In this role, the selected candidate will utilize professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions.
In this role, you will provide supervision to Speech - Language Pathology Aides, Speech - Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow / Paid Clinical Experience, Speech - Language Pathologist Level I, and Speech - Language Pathology interns, as assigned.
In this role, you will be responsible for provision of care to patients requiring rehabilitation services in various settings. Patient care may be provided to patients in all age categories based on assigned area of responsibility.
In this role, you will evaluate patients speech, language, cognitive / communicative and oral - pharyngeal status meeting established standards. The selected candidate will provide effective and appropriate treatment so that functional outcomes are achieved.
