The Workers Compensation Field Case Manager is responsible for assessing and analyzing injured employees to evaluate their medical and vocational needs. The Workers' Comp Field Case Manager must facilitate the patients appropriate and timely return to work, acting as a liaison between the patient/family, employer, providers, insurance carrier, and other healthcare personnel.
In this role, you will collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individuals benefit plan and/or health needs through communication and available resources to promote optimal, cost-effective outcomes.
In this role, the selected candidate will assess all medicines to identify possible ineffective drug therapy or adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, and contraindicated medications; establish realistic measurable, observable goals consistent with the patients diagnosis.
In this role, the selected candidate will assess and analyze an injured employee's medical and vocational status; develop a plan of care to facilitate the patient's appropriate and timely return to work.
In this role, you will be responsible for
providing early intervention in the medical and return to work management processes for injured workers. The NCM collaborates with all customers involved in the process to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate options and services required to achieve quality, cost-effective outcomes related to optimal medical improvement and minimizing lost time.
In this role, you will comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to Compliance Process: Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and documentation standards.
In this role, the selected candidate will maintain accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding the patient's condition; report patient condition and any identified needs/issues to Administrator on a daily basis.
