This position is responsible for a variety of activities including, and not limited to, performing standard and complex design tasks, requiring the operation and application of computer aided design equipment such as a plotter, and associated peripheral equipment, performing standard, complex, and non-routine design tasks.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for trouble shooting issues that arise during line trials and package testing on moderate to low-moderate risk projects with minimal supervision.
In this role, you will be responsible for research, design, and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
Exercise technical authority for the design, planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of assigned Facility Engineering projects to include major facility modifications, construction projects, Class III support equipment projects, and facility systems engineering projects for the Trident II missile.
In this role, you will coordinate all type of process design activities including equipment sizing, design of PFDs and P&IDs, loop sheets, E/I diagrams, process control and instrument specification and operating manuals.
In this role, the selected candidate will identify the business problem that requires research; identifies sources of information that are relevant to a problem; reviews literature and data related to the research question; summarizes information from data sources.
In this role, the selected candidate must have understand and follow company standard CAD procedures for layering, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout. Suggest improvements to standard procedures.
