Purchase materials and components; coordinate fabrication, assembly, installation, and integration; set up and conduct experiments; prepare progress reports, O&M manuals, and design review presentations.
Work in a design team environment consisting of a project manager, project engineer, and multi - discipline architectural and engineering staff to produce project design packages of drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Work with the area Operations and Maintenance staff to implement effective strategic maintenance initiatives that support achievement of reliability goals, objectives, key performance metrics, and maintenance cost objectives, and capital projects execution.
Performing all aspects of engineering and design. Works under minimal supervision, work is reviewed for adequacies on completion. Will provide some technical guidance to less experienced design and engineering personnel.
The successful candidate will operate in a fairly complex, fast-paced environment requiring a strong understanding of the manufacturing process and experience architecting and developing ASP.NET C# applications and integrating with other systems such as ERP systems (SAP).
This position will have the responsibility of the overall mechanical design of the product. This will include design of the necessary components and the structural and thermal analysis of the product. This position will work closely with the Recessed Program Manager, Marketing Manager, Optical Design Group, Electrical Engineering, Sourcing, and Manufacturing personnel to develop the products in an organized and expedient fashion.
Prepare error-free engineering documents (e.g., drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, evaluations) according to and bounded by industry codes, standards, and regulations to support client engineering needs.
