The Workforce Development Specialist is a marketing position (in larger projects) responsible for developing relationships with local businesses, organizations, One-Stop Career Centers, and post-secondary/vocational institutions; recruiting eligible youth for training services; and marketing training services to community organizations/advocates.
In this role, the selected candidate will make direct, proactive contact with desired corporate prospects at various organizational levels (C-suite to manager) via phone to initiate and cultivate new client.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors; exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
The Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as strategic business partner with site leadership on all Talent Acquisition related issues; proactively engages the Leadership teams to establish a common understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, outcomes and service standards.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for extending Offers to Candidates Demonstrated experience in proactively establishing relationships with Clients, Account Managers & Colleagues.
In this role, the selected candidate will source and screen top talent using industry leading recruiting tools, our ATS and social media; build relationships with top candidates and establish a pipeline of qualified resources.
The workforce development specialist will identify internship, work experience and employment opportunities for enrolled youth. The workforce development specialist works closely with program front-line staff to understand youths' skills and competencies, career interests, and possible barriers to employment to be addressed and/or considered.
