Supervise daily construction activities of all subcontractors on the jobsite, ensuring all work is performed in a safe and organized manner, on schedule and on budget. Maintain working relationships with the Owner, Subcontractors and Local Permit Authorities.
Responsible for coordination of all project plans, specifications, and the contract with owner, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, and all other project related documents.
Manage the schedule and work activities to ensure compliance with schedule milestones and completion dates including coordinating the activities of the various parties on site, primarily Woodard & Curran subcontractors.
Possess financial, technological and innovative skills necessary to develop, implement and coordinate integrated multiple multi-million dollar healthcare construction and renovation projects through multiple delivery models, and
in accordance with department policies and procedures.
This position will be responsible for working on all aspects of the project, scheduling, pay requests, R.F.I's, change orders, working with the design team, subcontractors, field personnel, and maintaining an excellent relationship with the owner.
Under general direction, to serve as project manager or construction manager; to plan and participate in a wide variety of advanced level professional, analytical, and coordination support duties for large and complex bridge and highway engineering and construction projects; to oversee and coordinate engineering and construction projects, processes, procedures, and programs; and to provide highly responsible and complex professional assistance to higher level management.
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of assigned project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
The Construction Manager provides construction and portfolio oversight services including management, capital planning, and execution. Projects include office buildings, commercial spaces, retail spaces, industrial facilities and distribution centers. Conducts team meetings, organizes and directs specific tasks within the project such as space surveys, inventories, and action item lists. Coordinates vendors and maintains client satisfaction. Engages and manages contractors and service vendors to execute renovation projects and with minimal disruption to operations.
