In this role, you will provide day to day guidance, support and direction to direct patient care staff, providing informal feedback on an ongoing basis and formal feedback input for the annual performance evaluation.

The RN Clinical Charge Nurse is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to assure successful safe delivery of care. The Charge Nurse is a caregiver and often takes modified patient care assignment.
The Charge RN oversees daily patient care on the nursing unit. Assists DON or Nurse Manager in staffing and scheduling, payroll functions ,and associate evaluation. Ensures adequacy of supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for patient care.
In this role, you will supervise direct patient care, perform patient assessments, develop and administer dialysis plans, analyze patient data, administer medications, fluid therapy/blood products, and other treatments per physician orders.
