Design duties will include all aspects of electrical design including conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design tasks. Specifically these will include but are not limited to requirements analysis and definition, specification development and documentation, trade studies, simulation and modeling, linear system analysis, component sensitivity analysis, thermal analysis, performance error analysis, prototyping, testing and evaluation, presentations, reporting and reviews.
Perform detailed design of overhead and /or underground electric distribution systems. This work includes the preparation of field notes, drawings, specifications, and estimates for review and approval by a Senior Designer or experienced DEG staff.
The Project Engineer is responsible for Leading or assisting all activities involved with capital projects including: budgeting, design, specifying, procurement, installation, and commissioning of food and beverage related projects in order to improve existing processes or creating new ones.
In this role, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
