In this role, you will have strong proficiency in mechanical design and analysis as well as thermal control of space borne hardware, must have thermal management experience including cryogenic cooling using passive and active technologies.
In this role, the selected candidate will be utilizing data and data collection systems, and Six Sigma methods for problem-solving and decision-making to eliminate manufacturing losses and unnecessary costs.
In this role, the successful candidate will review with the maintenance Supervisor the actual labor expended versus estimate in order to determine corrective measures needed to improve accuracy or quality of work.
The manufacturing engineer assists in developing and applying reliable manufacturing engineering methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of manufacturing technical problems.
