Oversee all aspects of the quality management function for a hospital or other healthcare facility; develop plans designed to improve the overall quality of the organization's facilities and patient care services.
Provide assistance and support to the SVP GC as to all matters requested, including assisting with corporate transactions, joint ventures, sales/acquisitions, divestitures, affiliations, and other transactions, including drafting of legal documents, coordination of transaction agenda, and due diligence.
The CMO is responsible for overall medical services for the health center, including all providers and all clinical staff. They comply with all agency policies and procedures concerning corporate compliance including privacy of protected health information.
This role is responsible for providing legal counsel and compliance guidance relating to the distribution and marketing of traditional insurance products. The Assistant General Counsel is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and for ensuring a culture of compliance within the organization.
