The ICU Manager is responsible for the patient population and assigned staff. The ICU Manager plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the unit activities. Provides direction, support and guidance to the assistant nurse managers and aids in their development both clinically and managerially.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide oversight of delegation of the assessment and reassessment of patients, including updating of care plans and interpreting patient needs, while adhering to Company, physician, and/or health facility procedures/policies.
The selected candidate will be responsible for manage clinical orientation, competency program, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition, and research and scholarship.
