The Sr. Category Marketing Manager role is a general management position focused on growth and profitability of product categories in food service. Primary responsibility is to develop, implement, and execute the product category strategies to achieve the objectives of the company's annual and long range business plan.
In this role, you will build relationships with the Walmart buyers through consistent delivery of value via reporting, promotional analysis, and with the help from Senior Managers and Director, relevant shopper insights.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for interviewing potential suppliers as well as agencies and suppliers of record to determine if the supplier is qualified to produce and/or supply products or services.
In this role, the selected candidate provides support to Walmart Buyers in developing an integrated category strategy; develops communication strategy to implement key research insights into plans at the customer level.
In this role, you will assist in development of long and short - term category strategies and tactics; executing tactics in support of the short and long term strategies that drive category volume and profit growth.
