The Accounting Analyst, Advanced plays a lead role in forecasting, budgeting and analysis, updating forecasts and long range planning, month end activities and balance sheet account reconciliations. The position directly interfaces and partners with the division President and other division leadership team members.
In this position, you will perform functions necessary to compile, analyze, interpret, report and maintain the integrity of financial information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), Federal regulations, Tribal legislation, and Financial Resources policies and procedures.
This individual will assists the accounting team in preparing standard and specialized financial reports such as analysis, balance sheets, income statements, and reconciliation according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
In this role, you will perform general duties in accounting related to cost accounting. Duties include assisting with and completing daily, weekly and monthly reports, reconciling various inventories, assisting with month end closing process and performing a variety of accounting tasks.
