In this role, you will collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient coverage as well as an active role on the infection control committee. The division provides care for general infectious disease, HIV care, transplant infectious disease and travel medicine to a large and complex patient population.
The candidate must be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and have completed either a pediatric residency or, if internal medicine trained, must have completed an allergy/immunology fellowship with significant training/experience in pediatrics or have significant clinical experience in pediatrics.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for assessing patients and providing them with the appropriate care; opportunity for a board eligible / certified Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to gain valuable work experience.
The Physician Assistant provides medical services to patients using approved patient care protocols; collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies and professional consultations and provides direct patient care services.
The physician has the responsibility for the medical care and treatment of patients rendered by the hospice interdisciplinary team (IDT) and shall consult and cooperate with the patients attending physicians.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, a broad knowledge base in critical care and dedication to providing high quality, evidence-based care. Applicants must be BE/BC in critical care medicine.
