Assist project/program management by developing technical solutions for internal and external customers, help inside and outside sales personnel on special projects, minor product mods, BOMs and schematics.
Communicate with customers directly and through Account Executives to understand prospective customers' current network situations, perform needs analyses, and produce strategic, cost-effective network bids and solutions.
Pursue and secure new tier one business opportunities; responds promptly to inquiries, and seeks out and calls upon potential and existing customers to identify needs. Pursue all avenues of technical requirements for new product development.
The Aerospace Sales Engineer is responsible for managing the marketing & sales activities, including product planning and strategies for commercial and military aircraft customers and prospects - Leading to planned growth in the assigned territory.
Assist as required to estimate costs and submit bids for customer requests and prepare contract documents; review customer component drawing requirements and develop quotation packages for customer requests.
This outside sales position, which represents Bahco Band Saw products, will work with industrial distributors, manufacturing reps and agencies and/or direct sales to identify and evaluate production end users and stimulate additional product demand with current accounts and develop new customer accounts.
The successful candidate will develop and implement sales strategies that meet the targeted sales plan. Will initiate new and service existing relationships within the Mid Continent region that includes the Midwest including Texas.
Must be mechanically inclined and capable of operating / adjusting machines, and have technical knowledge of metal cutting tools and other equipment; previous experience working as machine operator, or experience in the sawing industry is a plus.
