The incumbent will be responsible for project integrity and success against identified and agreed goals. Providing engineering and technical support to customers and internal departments, application engineering activities and documentation to support all activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will own design efforts in developing new connector and terminal and involved in all Product Development Phases required to bring concepts into production with minor supervision from Engineering Supervisor and Manager.
In this role, you will lead and manage technical customer communication and interaction on ECU tools-related system integration projects including providing technical presentations, managing critical customer issues, and tracking open/closed action items.
Control panel concept and design based on line up information from the Mechanical Engineer; coordinate with other Project Engineers regarding schedule, design concepts and other status information on areas of concern.
In this role, the selected candidate works on specific phases or aspects of projects such as technical studies, preparation of specifications, technical plans, engine testing, vehicle testing, data analysis and validation.
Plans and develops test programs for prototypes. Sets up and conducts tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposals for improving performance or other factors, or to obtain data for development, standardization, and quality control.
The ECU Flash Programming Project Engineer will be responsible for developing functional requirements and interfaces for programming software, calibrations, and applications into ECUs within GM vehicles including Autonomous vehicles.
In this role, you will maintain high level of contact with clients, Software engineers and Webb Project Management; translate high level contact meeting results into prioritized action items for the team.
