Responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
In this role, you will assist in evaluating patient care provided by nursing staff. Assists in process improvement activities. Works with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues.
As a Staff Registered Nurse (Hemodialysis RN) you see your patients three to four times each week for a few hours at a time; while they receive their treatments. The dialysis lifestyle can be very trying for our patients. By forming relationships with them, our nurses understand each patient's unique needs and help ease some of their burden.
In this role, you will deliver educational support to identified patients, Healthcare Professionals and to other office staff within primary care and specialist facilities in the field of a designated disease state in order to meet all relevant standards as set by the company and Nurse Manager.
The Hospice RN for Admissions performs pre-admission evaluations for appropriateness for hospice services. Initiates the admission process by educating and informing patient/family of hospice and its services.
