The Activity Director is responsible to plan, organize, and implement a program of therapeutic activities designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interest of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
The Director initiates, oversees, and integrates a comprehensive Medical Safety Program to ensure a Culture of Safety for patients, visitors, and employees, coordination and oversight of data collection, analysis, management, and presentation for quality improvement, management of Companys Performance Improvement Plan and advises the Medical Staff for development of bylaws, credentialing standards, and effective monitoring and management of medical staff performance.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals. Develop and monitor department budget as required.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations of a centralized library or information center, and addressing operational issues to improve the effectiveness and efficiency.
