As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a very important role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. Youll be embedded on a development team consisting between 8-30 people where you will validate application quality via automated and manual verification and give developers valuable input from a testing perspective.
Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance, and participate/interface with the engineering counterparts on program activities to assure processes and products are compliant to contractual and company requirements.
Circuit design; using sound theoretical and analytics using circuit simulators (such as PSPICE or equivalent electronic analysis tools), schematic capture and circuit board layout using an integrated design tool such as Altima or ORCAD.
Responsible for development and integration of cutting-edge software and hardware modifications to F-15 systems in support of Operational and Developmental Test events for the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command Test Center.
Design and develop tie-down methods, suspension methods, special test stands, towing methods, fuel supply systems, and exhaust systems in order to simulate operating conditions for aircraft, missiles, rockets and related equipment undergoing extreme weather tests in the McKinley Climatic Laboratory.
