Maintains file servers, network access; documents, analyzes and troubleshoots system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. Prepares system for operational use and support operational tests.
Creates and reviews records in a problem management or knowledge management database and assigns priorities with assigned functional area. Coordinates with numerous functional areas to ensure timely completion of activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide training and guidance to less advanced administrators. Applicants must have customer service skills which include the ability to meet goals in a timely manner, while being action-oriented, taking ownership, managing their time wisely and working effectively both independently and in a team environment.
Maintains baseline configurations and performs approved modifications. Documents processes, incidents, changes, Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI), and submits reports in response to unscheduled outages.
The Senior Systems Admins role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Dept. in alignment with the business objectives of the organization; plan, coordinate, direct and design IT related activities of the organization, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the IT department.
