The Hardware Quality Engineer must be able to work within a cross-function, matrixed organization in which there is close interaction and collaboration with Program Quality and various Engineering disciplines.
In this role, the selected candidate will conduct or participate in the design, specification and development of systems and/or tools for new programs as well as enhancements, modifications and corrections to existing systems and tools.

Analyze voice; video; radio-frequency; and/or data communications networks; including planning; designing; evaluating; selecting; upgrading and securing operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators; bridges; and other devices.
Researches, designs, and develops critical and complex computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
In this role, the selected candidate works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Acts as systems architect/team leader in multi-engineer teams, working on networking and communications projects. Assumes primary responsibility for system design and implementation; consults with clients to determine needs and meets with clients on an on-going basis throughout system development.
In this role, you will be responsible to architects, designs, and supports developing, and testing of WWAN solutions to several highly-complex technical projects. Creates WWAN specifications for the projects. Leads technology roadmap process. Recommends project approach and goals.
