The Hardware Quality Engineer must be able to work within a cross-function, matrixed organization in which there is close interaction and collaboration with Program Quality and various Engineering disciplines.
Researches, designs, and develops critical and complex computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development, for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
In this role, you will perform complex systems development and design work that may include logic design, i/o design, firmware development, model formulation, manufacturing and development cost projections, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Work with other engineering disciplines, including RF designers, digital circuit board designers, and embedded real-time software team for system design and integration, to identify problems, clearly report failure symptoms, and recommend solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible to architects, designs, and supports developing, and testing of WWAN solutions to several highly-complex technical projects. Creates WWAN specifications for the projects. Leads technology roadmap process. Recommends project approach and goals.
