The Occupational Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services & rehabilitation to patients to assist in obtaining their highest functional level of improvement for the performance of daily activities and regaining independence.
Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in order to produce effective outcomes.
Develop appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implements the occupational therapy treatment plan, and completes all related documentation and record keeping regarding these services.

Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests of function to patients in their homes or other settings to assist the physician in evaluating the patients level of function.
The REGISTERED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
