The Network Planning Engineer will be the subject matter expert for architecting, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting a complex enterprise network in support of common business applications and objectives.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for configuring, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting devices on a complex enterprise network in support of common business applications and objectives for approximately 200 sites and 20,000 users.
Analyzes voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices.
Responsible for the identification, analysis, evaluation, life - cycle management, and adoption of security practices and tools. Design, develop, and implement security controls and tools that improve the defense of companys cloud services infrastructure and applications.
Implement, administer & support intrusion software, i/c IMMIX, AMAG, TalkMaster, WinPak & MasterMind signal process. tech., as well as telephony tech. & video & audio recording software & storage of audio/video clips.
Assists in developing strategic and tactical planning of LAN/WAN environments for internal customers, including discovery and documentation of user requirements before development design and programming.
Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
