In this role, you will perform design, development and analysis tasks on complex mechanical hardware including precision space structures and mechanisms, electro-mechanical hardware, and complex electronic packaging in a program team environment.
The position provides Hypergolic System Design includes (but not limited to) compressible & incompressible fluid flow & thermal analysis, system layout, component selection, and materials compatibility analysis for the Fluids & Propulsion design engineering group.
The person hired for the position of Mechanical Engineer will primarily be responsible for providing technical leadership for new product and new technology development initiatives having significant business impact.
The Principal Mechanical Engineer demonstrates quality in all actions; The Principal Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for providing production support related to design changes to the HVAD system including all mechanical subsystems and components. In addition, this position also includes the analysis of returned product and the associated reports required as part of the QSR requirements.
