Produces technical specifications to match business requirements of low level complexity projects which may include report rating & minor enhancements. Develops, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, modifies and installs programs.
Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
Creates and reviews work instructions and related manufacturing documentation to ensure that they are fully compliant to all appropriate quality control specifications and that they achieve maximum effectiveness within cost and schedule constraints.
Review and provide assessment of test plans, certification reports, NECT Integrated Products Team (IPT) inputs, Configuration Control Board inputs, NASA/NRO collaboration (i.e. NASA ERB participation, information sharing).

Conduct design trade studies to select the best possible design solution, taking into account factors including, but not limited to, system performance and functionality, strength, weight, manufacturability and cost.
Evaluates customer technical specifications and drawings to determine process or product applicability and reproducibility; and determines the appropriate methods for fabricating and bonding materials.
