The Outpatient Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm.
In this role, you will administer medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform treatments and administers medications according to policy and procedure; complete all follow-up assessments and evaluations; evaluate effectiveness of interventions.
In this role, the successful candidate will prepare equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations of patients; assist in planning, supervising, and instructing ER Techs and Patient Care Assistants.
In this role, you will works collaboratively with physicians, anesthesia personnel, and other health team members to determine the patients individual preoperative needs, serving as the main resource person for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within the assigned surgical specialty.
In this role, you will utilize complete computerized charting ( meditech ) for patient assessment and care documentation, and eMAR to electronically record medication administration for the delivery of all medications provided to their patients.
