The Information Security Architect is a subject matter expert who, through independent project engagements and collaboration with business and technology partners, as well as third party vendors, designs and develops the information security architecture for the organization.
Analyze business operations to understand strengths and weaknesses and determine opportunities to automate processes and functions; serve as a liaison and act as an interface between business units and BIS.
Responsible to gather customer requirements, prepare and manage detailed functional specifications, work with developers to ensure the solution meets business needs, and facilitate testing including managing test issues.
Leads and or participates in cross-functional task forces to identify current and future: work flow, business impact assessments, business process improvements, data definitions, information sources and distribution paths for business processes.
The IT Security Analyst is responsible for all aspects of IT Security. This position will review and recommend firewall changes, monitor and escalate as appropriate all intrusion detection and network incidents.
Engages assigned business as the central point of contact for information security and advocates security control needs of assigned business while also advocating for the Global Information Assurance teams security initiatives and controls deployment.
Evaluates new products, service offerings, and new internal applications to ensure that information assets are handled in accordance with laws, regulations and organizations information security policies.
The IT Security Analyst executes security controls to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs; provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information.
