In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing Single Global instance environments with maintaining high availability; working with a big DBA team with members in different geographical locations.
Define, develop and document standardized database procedures, tools, backup and recovery methods, performance tuning methods and disaster planning, in addition to providing DBA mission and life critical 24X7 database support on operating systems.

The role assumes close cooperation with Cloud engineering, system admin teams to help automate routine tasks such as database provisioning and administration with the goal of rapidly deploying standardized, repeatable and disposable assets to Public and Private Cloud environments.
Responsible for a standard common business vocabulary that expresses strategic data requirements and outlines high level integrated designs to meet these requirements and align with enterprise strategy and the related business architecture.
The Big Data Architect will have progressive experience in data management, data migration, data warehousing, business intelligence and data modeling with a deep knowledge of enterprise data architecture concepts.
