The Configuration Manager will implement, document, and maintain proper software configuration IAW AF DOD and best practice methodologies. This individual will play a central role in improving the timeliness, quality and effectiveness of the Unit's development efforts.

Configuration Managers require extensive experience with establishing and maintaining the consistency of information regarding the design requirements, functional and physical attributes, and operational information of enterprise configuration items (CIs).
Configuration Management - Designs and establishes configuration management documentation. Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system. Establishes baselines. Supports program audits.
Defining provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits; regulating the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into CIs
