This position will exercise discretion and independent judgment concerning a multitude of accounting tasks and financial analysis, assists departmental managers in reviewing balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports, analyzes issues, and assists in problem resolution.
In this role, you will be responsible for
managing the unit accounting operations including, agency and direct bill production and related accounts receivable and producer commission expense, company and vendor payables and other general ledger accounts specifically assigned.
In this role, the selected candidate manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems which may include journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, cash flows, etc. in accordance with generally accepted accounting policies and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate must have the ability to anticipate and identify potential problems and demonstrate a proven track record in doing Root Cause Analysis as well as solving complex and ambiguous issues.
In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with the controller, operations and the management team; the candidates must have the ability to multi-task, work in a multi-company environment and work independently.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles in assigned areas of responsibility; ensure delivery of accurate, timely and relevant financial information to internal and external customers.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring accuracy and timely reporting of financial statements, supporting budget and forecasting processes, year end and month end close, and accounts payables.
In this role, the selected candidate understands and continues to obtain and research data about current and future market conditions, to understand client expectations and service opportunities based on needs analysis.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitors revenue and expenses; coordinates the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; prepares special reports; manages accounts payable and receivable.
In this role, the selected candidate will oversee the preparation and ensures the quality of the income statement reporting and presentations; ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial data.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger balances and general ledger reconciliations; perform monthly analysis of departmental income statements and budget variances
In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate the adequacy of the company's internal control structure and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and develop and update documentation of such controls as appropriate.
The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Senior Management to coordinate review of monthly journal entries, related reconciliations of roll forward reports and account reconciliations; strict attention to detail is critical as is meeting department deadlines.
