The Test Engineering position is responsible for working directly with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering to design, and implement electrical testing on automotive safety products used in braking, crash, or vehicle sensing.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare calibration procedures/job plans and associated training materials; perform measurement uncertainty analysis for primary/working standards and process instrumentation.
In this role, you will independently plans and conducts small - to - medium - size assigned projects within engineering specialty requiring conventional types of plans, investigations and/or equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for
develop process technology in support of new plant design, plant improvements, etc. Work independently in evaluation, selection, and application of engineering practices to project requirements, including highly complex technologies.
In this role, the selected candidate will support the development of cost effective product test strategy in the effort to achieve a high quality product that also facilitates the manufacturing process.
In this role, you will develop and maintain a capability/ opportunity matrix for the rolling assets at each plant, relative to safety, quality, reliability and production. The selected candidate will also lead the standardization of appropriate assets and procedures between plants.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with NCC and Engineering team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
