Provide skilled professional nursing care to patient / family / caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations by the State Board of Registered Nursing and company policies when called upon after hours.
As a Home Hemo Dialysis Registered Nurse (HHD RN), you will work on the cutting edge of nephrology nursing by training and educating patients in our clinics and preparing them to dialyze in the privacy of their own homes.
The RN performs a variety of basic age-specific duties in providing comprehensive patient care. All clinical care is done under the direction of the RN who determines appropriate tasks for delegation. Members of the Patient Care Team are responsible for making observations as directed by the RN and reporting deviations to the Personal in charge.
Responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines.
The Registered nurse assists with medication administration, assessment and documentation while gaining one-on-one relationships with children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and special needs.
