The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for the effective development, management and execution of testing on complex web based, mobile and API software solutions to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
The incumbent is responsible for the development and implementation of computer controlled manufacturing processes (such as foundry furnaces, dip lines, autoclave, etc.), and for assuring the accuracy and reliability of those processes.
The candidate will be responsible for software testing design, planning, automation and execution for a variety of customer-facing and internal applications in an Agile software development environment.
Provide engineering support to Facilities group, troubleshoot PLC control problems, advance the state of program development and management, and help develop new methods of manufacturing in the casting industry.
Paticipate in designing and developing testing automation framework/tools that can support component-level testing automation for new functionalities, and a full-blown regression testing suite for system-level end to end services and Web UI.
The principal challenges of this position lies in the development of process controls and procedures in specialized areas as determined by the incumbent, effecting workable solutions to engineering and production problems, and solving those problems rapidly in situations requiring closely coordinated completion with minimum operation interference.
