In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for managing Windows Servers and network applications, including, VMware, MS Exchange, Web hosting, Fax, Terminal Server, Citrix, MS Exchange and AS/400 connectivity.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience leading large projects and mentoring junior level network support staff; experience with managing virtualization environments such as VMware vSphere and Citrix XenServer.
In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate during planning and design meetings; create technical diagrams and documentation; prototype new technologies to promote internal IT efficiencies; work with service providers in deployment of new technologies and services.
In this role, the selected candidate will configure firewall rules, IPS, routing, and VPNs. Test and monitor connectivity and network performance in Azure and external connections (both physical and VPN).
The selected candidate will perform client consulting in the area of network engineering (hardware and software) using routers, switches, networksecurity devices, protocol analyzers, TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, Routing Protocols, QoS.
The Network/Systems Engineer provides complete support for the organization's network infrastructure (LAN switches, routers, access points, etc.), data security (user access accounts, firewalls, VPN, etc.), servers, technology support appliances, and all related technologies and services.
