In this role, the selected candidate will be working in collaboration with a medical directing physician, and under established standards and guidelines of the Department of Anesthesiology, the successful candidates will provide anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment of patient and family needs, and the development, implementation and evaluation of an appropriate (goal directed) plan of nursing care, including assessment for the need of aide service.
The Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical assessment and intervention for consumer care provision in a manner consistent with the philosophy, mission, and vision of the organization.
In this role, you will prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including any case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, updates/summarizes patient records, and confers with other health care disciplines in providing optimum patient care.
In this role, you will evaluate assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
