May act as technology guardian for a particular unit and/or leverages technical competency across sites. Generates new technology applications. Interacts with internal and external organizations. Mentors other engineers/chemist and assists in operations training.
Managing administrative and documentation requirements for tasks such as software revisions, downloading configuration changes, graphics development and modification, and implementing software changes of design.
In this role, the selected candidate will work independently and sets an example in ensuring compliance to Quality System requirements as a member of the Project Q transfer team; utilize Six Sigma/Process Excellence to solve complex problems and develop optimal solutions Partners with R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Compliance, suppliers and other groups to ensure effective product and knowledge transfer of clinical chemistry analyzers.
