In this role, the selected candidate will evaluate patients, orders appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies, arranges for referrals, testing, consultation, and therapeutic services and maintains outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians and all members of the health care team.
In this role, you will evaluate and treat the acute and non-acute medical, surgical, orthopedic, OB/ GYN, pediatric and psychiatric patients through appropriate history and physical examinations, radiology and laboratory data.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the physicians in all aspects of patient care, which includes obtaining histories, performing physical exams, ordering ancillary tests,procedures, and referrals as needed, monitoring patient progress, maintaining outstanding relationships with families.
The successful Physician Assistant candidate will work under the responsibility and supervision of the physician and require completion of an ARC-PA (or predecessor organization) approved physician assistant program, current NCCPA certification or eligibility and Pennsylvania State licensure.
