The Manufacturing Manager is a hands on leader on the production floor. He/she will have supervisory responsibility for all assembly, and will be responsible for all production, quality and on-time delivery performance.
In this role, you will responsible for the overall direction, guidance and safety of a manufacturing department. This includes organizing and directing all departmental related activities on all shifts, including providing leadership, direction and facilitation of production line teams, maintenance, quality and materials.

This role directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering and maintenance projects at the facility by performing the following duties personally or through assigned direct or indirect team, lead day to day activities of directing, controlling and coordinating all phases of the Maintenance and Engineering Department.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the plant produces sodium nitrite products that meet customer and all applicable regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for ensuring the plant is run in a safe, efficient, cost effective, and continually improving manner consistent with Company Values.
In this role, the selected candidate will directly supervise employees in the Sales department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
In this role, you will lead analysis of plant labor, scrap, operational spending and inventory transactions against optimal manufacturing levels and to identify and recommend to plant management, key areas needing improvement.
