This position is perfect for a self-motivated, pro-active NP/PA who has highly effective critical thinking and prioritization skills. NPs/PAs will function with a high degree of autonomy but will work closely with the medical director to ensure quality of care and compliance with standards/guidelines.
The successful Nurse Practitioner candidate will work in collaboration with the physician and have a certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners or be eligible to hold national certification that allows the NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position.
The successful candidate is expected to have prior experience with in vivo mouse imaging using multi-photon microscope, as well as prior experience with in vitro fluorescence imaging of live cell migration.
Responsible for working within a multi-physician inpatient hospital setting and provide first assist services primarily, but not limited to the General Surgery Service. Surgical assist may also be required for Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, GYN/Oncology and Vascular Surgery.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall operation of the assisted living neighborhood in accordance with federal, state, local laws and Sunrise Senior Living standards, guidelines and regulations
Design and provides complex teaching strategies (both formal and informal) to promote, maintain and improve health and prevent illness for the medical staff, students and community in addition to the education provided to patients, families and caregivers.
