The Electrical Manufacturing Engineering Technician manages projects and provides technical support for manufacturing process development, controls, startup, and continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced, hands-on, manufacturing engineering position.
The Engineer 1 (Software) as part of a cross functional team within Software Engineering, is responsible for developing, directing and delivering complex engineering programs in support of R&D business strategies.
The job will consist of site grading, storm water management, erosion and sedimentation control, client interaction, managing staff and projects, and coordinating with other managers on business development activities.
Supports plant design modifications, testing and problem solving. ; Assure all engineering products prepared or overseen are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Coordinates project accountabilities and planning goals with respect to engineering personnel.
Develop new uses for known materials and predict their structural and thermal behaviors. Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
This position is responsible for the development of desktop and web based software applications, databases and supports other miscellaneous software development efforts as needed for the Kaman Automation group. The software engineering includes software design, software development and integration.
