This position is responsible for Electrical Engineering activities on a large manufacturing operation. The right candidate will have demonstrated a strong technical Electrical Engineering maintenance background as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
The Electrical Manufacturing Engineering Technician manages projects and provides technical support for manufacturing process development, controls, startup, and continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced, hands-on, manufacturing engineering position.
Coordinate workflow of Customer Service Representative's. Build and sustain the talent level in order to meet/exceed the service expectations of the organization. Supervises the day-to-day activities within the framework of established polices and procedures. Responsible for staffing levels as well as recommending solutions for customer complaints. Coordinates with other KIT departments to resolve issues.
Architect and analyze vehicle level power systems potentially utilizing multiple Motor Drives, Energy Storage Systems, Fuel Cells, and DC/DC converters. Architect test fixtures and test systems for motor drives and other power conversion products.
Primary responsibility is the design of DC/DC and AC/DC high reliability power electronics in the 20W to 500W output power range for use in severe operating environments. Applications include aerospace flight control systems, engine control systems, flight deck, cabin systems and vehicle drive systems.
Responsibilities may include DC AC, AC-AC and DC DC power conversion from 1W 1MW and 28 to 800VDC / 460VAC. Experience with power magnetics design, machine control and EMI control is also desirable. An individual at this level should demonstrate the leadership ability to lead small work groups or program teams.
Analog Design Engineer with skills and experience in the design of analog circuits for control systems applications for Mil temp operating environments. Ability to design and analyze analog circuits for engine control, flight control and aircraft cabin/flight deck applications.
This role entails using EDA tools for digital and analog circuit designers in advanced technology nodes. It also entails using the design tools for gate/transistor level electrical circuit design and physical layout for ASIC and Foundry circuits, circuit design verification using circuit simulation tools, and electrical and physical rules generation.
Lead/participate in specification, design, analysis and development of electronic circuits for microprocessor and/or embedded firmware based devices. Perform technical trade studies to determine feasibility of potential Digital Control approaches, and recommend alternative solutions.
