In this role, the selected candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties for the Human Resources Department with special focus placed on hiring systems and payroll. Position responsibilities include making a large amount of phone calls in relation to hiring activity, responding to questions regarding processes, tracking candidates, preparing for orientation, assuring compliance of required information, assisting with payroll and other tasks related to the needs of the department.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage multiple calendars, prioritizing access and resolving scheduling conflicts; gather pertinent information for the preparation of grants and administrative reports.
In this role, the selected candidate performs a variety of administrative/clerical duties including: answering telephones, scheduling appointments, making copies/fax, arranging travel, meeting/room arrangements, processing time cards, processing personnel data, handling budgets, and processing work orders, requisitions, expense reports, stationary orders, and the like.
In this role, the selected candidate advises undergraduate students about department course offerings and deadlines; maintains majors list per class year; arranges course schedules, course descriptions, and room assignments.
