The Patient Accommodations Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the department. The primary department function is to secure bed placement utilizing clinical and critical thinking skills to admit non-emergent patients and to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments within and outside the hospital to assure the appropriate bed assignments and transfer arrangements are made.
