The senior accountant will be responsible for maintaining best accounting practices and procedures for the operational legal entity and the associated holding company to ensure accurate and timely financial statements compliant with ifrs, corporate finance manual and internal control standards.

In this role, you will coordinate and implement accounting procedures with Home and Community Accountants and Billers to ensure appropriate analysis and recognition of Home and Community accounts, including Persons with Disabilities and At Home services.

In this role, you will be responsible for
providing technical accounting guidance and support for FCA and subsidiaries on various complex accounting areas under both US GAAP and IFRS, such as; revenue recognition, multiple element arrangements, embedded leases, and variable interest entities.
In this role, the selected candidate prepares moderate to highly complex tax returns in order to meet fiduciary compliance needs, performs secondary review of simple complexity returns and serves as mentor to less experienced accountants.
