As the SQL Server DBA, you will join their existing team to manage and grow their existing infrastructure. In this role, you would be responsible for managing the latest version of SQL Server in both AWS and Azure environments.
A Database Administrator candidate reporting to the Division of Information Technology & Services will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all public safety operational data systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for data analysis and database management; involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.
The Database Administrator coordinates changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. May plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
The individual who fills this position will continuously improve the companys database technologies by promoting standardization, documentation and simplification while ensuring a secure, reliable and performing platform.
