The Interior and Electrical Purchasing Project Manager is a critical part of the regional and global team that facilitates and drives key projects and initiatives on behalf of the team and its management.
Purchasing, marketing, distribution operations, technical support operations, supplier quality and engineering, regional counterparts as well as working closely with external suppliers and global counterparts.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and manages the direction and daily activities of the Royal Plastics Incorporated materials and services with the focus on people, organization, process and information technology.
Accountable for material cost, long-term assurance of supply, material availability for production/shipments, supplier quality performance, compliance to the quality system as well as all purchasing related information and data management.
This role will help develop, implement and direct improvement areas in each plant with planning and scheduling, inventory dollars (working capital), inventory accuracy improvements, packaging and labeling standardization and conformance, ASNs and EDI with suppliers, logistics, and to use the ERP/MRP knowledge that has been acquired during your career to drive overall improvements throughout the entire supply chain.
Lead the NA supply chain logistics activity in the design and standardization of supply chain systems and processes in regards to how the company will acquire and deliver materials to internal processes and external customers.
The Supply Chain Engineering Manager will be responsible for analysis and utilization of continuous improvement methodology to lead the design of complex Supply Chain Solutions for current and future operations.
